projects and
collaborations

Isidora Stojanovic

Among the various projects in which I have been involved, the following are still active:

Perspectival Thoughts and Facts (PETAF)

In this Marie Curie Training Network, involving 8 major European centres and coordinated by Sven Rosenkranz (University of Barcelona), I am the coordinator of one of the six workpackages: G2: Issues in Semantics; the workshop corresponding to this workpackage was held in Cerisy-la-Salle in June 2011. The Midterm Conference of this project will be held in Aberdeen in December 2011. For further information regarding the network and its activities, see here.

Context, Content and Compositionality

This project is financed by an ERC advanced grant and coordinated by François Recanati (CNRS & EHESS). For further information regarding our activities, check out this site.

Semantic Content and Context-Dependence

In this 3 year project, financed by the Spanish Ministry and coordinated by Max Kölbel (University of Barcelona), I am one of the main "investigators". We've had two workshops in Barcelona, where we are also having our main conference in November 2011. For further information regarding this project, see here.

Paris-Amsterdam Logic Meetings of Young Researchers (PALMYR)

This project begun in 2005, on the initiative of Olivier Roy (then at ILLC) and my own. It enhances the collaboration among three groups: Institut Jean-Nicod in Paris, the Institute for Language, Logic and Cognition (ILLC) in Amsterdam, and Institut d'Histoire et de Philosophie des Sciences et des Techniques (IHPST) in Paris. We have had altogether 10 workshops, alternating between Paris and Amsterdam, on areas involving logic, language, and theories of rationality. For details regarding past and future workshops, see here.

Genericity: Interpretation and Uses (GENIUS)

This is a 3 year ANR project, coordinated by Alda Mari (Institut Jean-Nicod). We've had two big conferences; the third and last one, "From Morphology to Cognition", will be held in Paris in December 2011. Check out the project's website here.
